Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Technical Sourcer to join our growing team. Our first ever Technical Sourcer will focus on engaging mid, senior and principal level talent across technical roles for ID.me, particularly within software engineering. You will partner closely with our recruiters and hiring managers to develop strategies to find talented candidates across the U.S. Our ideal new teammate brings a level of motivation, creativity and tenacity. The Technical Sourcer owns the sourcing strategy, building and cultivating talent pipelines for technical hiring needs and will be invaluable as we continue to scale our organization. In this role, you will also work on strategic projects to improve and innovate how we attract and recruit the best talent. We are open to a Senior Technical Sourcer depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with our recruiting team and hiring managers to thoroughly understand the role, the function, and business impact
- Identify, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, social media, and various techniques and platforms
- Build pools of top talent for engineering, data, product and more
- Effectively align a candidate's experience, motivations, and expectations with ID.me’s value proposition, role details, and expectations
- Collaborate with recruiters and coordinators to ensure an efficient model of operation
- Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
- Continuously improve and standardize sourcing best practices to support our hyper-growth company
- Strategize various ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns
- Ensure a fantastic candidate experience as you engage them and move them into the beginning stages our recruiting process
- Set priorities and expectations with internal stakeholders and candidates
- Embody ID.me culture and be our spokesperson to candidates
- Support ad-hoc sourcing and strategic projects as needed
Ideal Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical sourcing or a sourcing heavy recruiting role at a fast-paced technology company or search firm
- Proven track record of increasing the funnel for software engineering roles through various search strategies and research
- Passion for quality over quantity
- Results driven; able to think and act quickly
- Collaborative and active team player
- Stellar attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving problems
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excited to make an impact in a fast-paced, startup environment
