Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) Information Management group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as an Identity and Access Management Engineer
Our team works a remote 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off!
Responsibilities Include:
- Support identity, credential, and access management solutions in accordance with US Department of Energy and other federal guidance.
- Smart Card and YubiKey authentication support.
- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Certificate Authorities maintenance and operations.
- Administration, support, and maintenance of authentication and access management environments.
- Perform work in alignment with standard methodologies for identity management, access controls, and credential integration for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Identify and implement process improvements and provide suggestions for best practices for identity management, access controls, credentialing, and multi-factor authentication (MFA). Create and maintain process and technical documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree plus 3 - 5 years relevant experience or an Advanced degree and 1-3 years relevant experience OR 10 - 13 years relevant experience/education in lieu of a bachelor's degree. (associates 7 - 9 years, Certification 9 - 11 years)
- Applicants are subject to the requirements of DOE O 142.3B, Unclassified Foreign National Access Program.
- Strong understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and X.509 standards, including operation Certificate Authorities such as Microsoft Windows Certificate Services, OCSP, SCVP, etc.
- Excellent understanding of identity and access management concepts and technology.
- Understanding of various scripting/programming technologies such as PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, etc.
Preferred Requirements:
Working experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and X.509 standards, including operation of Certificate Authorities.
Working experience developing and integrating systems to follow NIST, DOE, and other federal standards or security standard practices.
Working experience with Microsoft Certificate Authority services.
Working experience with OCSP Certificate Authority services.
Working experience with object and relational databases, especially SQL.
Working experience with account lifecycle management (provisioning, change management, de-provisioning).
