Responsibilities
Operate assigned winding machine(s) to produce springs according to quality standards and customer specifications. Organize orders according to production schedule and prioritize as needed.

Monitor production for variations in the spring tension, inside diameter and length according to
work order specification.
Perform initial spring tension audits after each wire change and set-up.
Change over and ensure proper tooling is used according to wire size and inside diameter.
Set-up and operate torches and plasma cutters.
Transfer completed springs to material handling carts and / or conveyors.
Record and process production and quality data accurately on work orders and various forms
upon completion of job.
Perform general preventive machine maintenance.
Troubleshoot equipment as needed.
Notify Maintenance when a machine is not running properly.
Maintain and ensure proper use of tooling.
Qualifications Required
High school diploma or GED.
Strong communication skills.
Qualifications Preferred
Manufacturing and previous machine operator experience.
