Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Systems Engineer (CSE) to drive the transformation of an existing system to a cloud-native, microservices architecture that provides foundational capability to innovate and scale according to customers' short and long-term objectives.
- Oversee the development and implementation of fully integrated solutions for the assigned task order.
- Meet with internal and external stakeholders to assess business needs, evaluate existing systems, document system requirements, and determine appropriate integrated solutions.
- Prepare specifications for use in the development process, coordinate and review the work of developers, and test and approve deliverables prior to deployment to customer sites.
- Prepare and communicate project plans, track project progress, control project scope, and facilitate change orders in response to out of scope needs for the assigned task order.
- Accountable to business for schedule, budget, and quality of all program elements. Escalate decisions to sponsors as necessary.
- Develop and maintain detailed solution and project documentation.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the program delivery teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering.
- Experience leading large-scale IT transformation projects in the federal sector.
- Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to think creatively and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Federal experience.
- FISMA High experience is preferred.
