Summary:
This position will successfully build and oversee an efficient, scalable value stream to deliver Hale pump modules and other engineered to order product, in concert with the objectives set forth by the Site Leader. This individual will be expected to be an active and influential member of the senior leadership team with responsibility for customer service, engineering, supply chain, operations, and quality, as each function relates to pump modules.
The current focus is on:
- Developing and executing a strategy for top line, sustainable & profitable growth.
- Scaling the value stream to support open/future demand and fulfill past due backlog to request date.
- Getting the right talent on board and getting them in the right seats to drive the strategy and operating discipline.

Implementing solid operating discipline throughout the organization, not just the shop floor.
- Recurring engineering development: Module design processes and design quality.
- Supply chain process development: supplier management, DMI, Quality, and Delivery.
- Manufacturing excellence: Lead Time, OTD, Quality, Efficiency, and Lean Deployment.
Accountability:
- Responsible for the critical to customer objectives and to meet or exceed key performance targets of the Company along with the Company's adherence to all Federal and State mandates while upholding the highest ethical standards in the conduct of employment with the Company and to personally abide by the IDEX Standards of Conduct and Business Ethics Policy.

Operating Plan Execution:
- Achieve annual delivery target for the value stream.
- Applies lean tools to the order to cash cycle to deliver world class execution that exceeds customer expectations.
- Deliver year-over-year productivity through supply chain and factory-floor continuous improvement activities.
- Deploy a “zero-tolerance” mindset and operating methodology to ensure compliance to all EH&S standards.
- Works with process owners to ensure that IKPIs are collected to monitor progress.
- Works with Director of Operations to ensure that processes are documented in accordance with ISO requirements.
Customer Obsession:
- Establish strong relationships with Customers’ executive, operational & technical decision makers and influencers. Connects executives, engineers, and quality teams with these customer contacts.

Lead efforts to understand our existing core customers’ most impactful needs, and develop and execute strategies to protect and grow our strong foundation:
- Maintain world-class OTD OEMs (90% )
- Measure and improve module quality
- Directly interacts with senior management of key strategic customers.
- Oversee sales forecasts and tactical plans required to achieve or surpass forecasted results.
- Visits OEM partners to monitor execution and seek VoC.
- Regularly meets with customers to ensure clarity of expectations, delivery schedule alignment, and to seek feedback.
- Acts as a liaison and the face of the manufacturing site for the IDEX F&S sales team and module customers.
- Works with Product Management to improve manufacturability of pump modules and ensure that designs and execution align with product strategy.
General:
- Participates in AOP (Annual Operating Planning), forecasting (monthly/quarterly), goal deployment, MBR (Monthly Business Review) and strategic planning as requested and required
- Conducts performance appraisals with reporting associates at annual basis, setting goals and objectives, completes regular feedback sessions with direct reports, reviews training needs, and develops the team
- Follow company policies, procedures, and instructions; including adherence to functional processes and controls as required by Functional Directors and or Senior Leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
- 5 years of experience leading and developing teams
- Demonstrated success as a functional leader of an industrial business
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to “telescope” – to move seamlessly from the strategic to the tactical/hands-on when needed, without getting overly bogged down in details
- Demonstrated business and organizational change leadership driven by the principles of 8020.
- Proven skills in mentoring a team and emphasizing people development throughout an organization
- Demonstrated ability to make difficult changes to a team when necessary
- Working knowledge of Value Stream Mapping and Lean Manufacturing
- Experience implementing process improvement programs
- Timely accomplishment of above listed responsibilities while maintaining budget constraints
- Ability to travel when necessary
Project management or PMP certification a plus
