- Position Overview for the Field Estimator : Estimate costs of materials, labor, equipment, and other resources needed for project execution.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop project budgets.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
- Ensure that cost estimates align with project goals, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
- Continually evaluate and refine estimation techniques to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Distribution and / or related Engineering experience with a power utility company preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical system operations, distribution systems, and underground / overhead construction practices.
- Working knowledge of ARMS, JETS, Adobe / GIS, CSS, Socket, OFS, DistView, TCMS Web, NJUNS, EDEN, and Oracle Analytics preferred.
