Job Title: Laborer
IEA Constructors LLC is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Laborer to assist our equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled laborers on various construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for removing, filling, or compacting earth, operating hand and power tools, and performing other tasks as directed by management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled laborers as needed.
- Remove, fill, or compact earth.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, forklifts, skid loaders, and other tools as directed by management.
- Clean and prepare construction sites as needed, including erecting scaffolding, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials, and digging trenches.
- Load and unload construction supplies from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment.
- Perform road construction activities involving asphalt, concrete, and concrete supports, highway signs, guard rails, and landscaping.
- Work in changing environmental conditions which may include cold or hot weather, wet and muddy conditions.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum two years experience.
- Organizational and planning skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive thinker.
- Effective communication skills.
- Initiative and adaptability.
- Attention to detail.
