Looking for an internship in Supply Chain - Sourcing? Join our team! As a Sourcing Intern in our Supply Chain team, you will be an integral part of our team to execute part set-ups and pricing quote requests with the chance to improve our processes. Gain real world experience in an experience , learn how to navigate an ERP system and directly impact our bottom line with the work you do!
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate request for quotation (RFQ), process them and respond to sales within established time target.
- Work cross functionally with sales teams to meet quote timelines and goals.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain Planners to solve supply issues impacting markets or customers.
- Utilize cost analysis, price analysis and cost modeling techniques to manage supplier costs in SAP.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Junior or Senior academic standing pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Operations Management, Purchasing or Logistics. A major that includes a background in economics is a plus.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and business information and deal with several abstract and concrete
variables. - Ability to work in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exposure to an ERP system is a plus.
