LOCATION
This is a hybrid role, and candidates must be able to easily commute to Hartford, CT.
SALARY RANGE
The expected salary range is $40,000 to $50,000 and subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Company.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Process incoming submissions for different lines of business (General Liability, Excess Casualty and Inland Marine)
Maintain the integrity of the electronic file records. - Process form letter notifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATIONS
- College degree required.
- Personal and/or Commercial Insurance experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to read an Accord Application and identify various lines of business (i.e. General Liability, Excess Casualty, Inland Marine)
- Determining appropriate ISO classes, exposures and additional UW criteria
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Good oral/written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and reasoning skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume work environment.
- Ability to make decisions independently.
- Strong word processing computer skills with demonstrated high accuracy output.
- Other: Occasional overtime required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Physical demands are considered to be that of an office environment, climate controlled, with minimal physical exertion. This position requires prolonged sitting, ability to utilize a computer and interactions with others meetings or via phone.
