SEO Strategist

ifm is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate SEO Strategist to own the project execution and analysis that helps drive a best-in-class search strategy across our business. This role will own analysis, execution, and search strategy to drive more traffic and increase user engagement. As an SEO Strategist, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, writing specs and test plans as well as post-launch analysis. Ideal candidates will have the ability to execute and drive measurable results, fluency with complex data, highly effective communication skills, and a passion for internet marketing.  This role will focus on visibility and engagement with www.ifm.com/us helping guide our customers through their Industry 4.0 journey utilizing our Learn More, Product Catalog, and e-shop content.  You will partner closely with our Product Marketing and Content Teams to develop a best in class web experience that connects prospects and customers with ifm content.

Job Responsibilities

• Keyword-content mapping recommendations
• Providing content restructuring, revision, and redesign recommendations
• Optimization of page title, URL, meta tags, heading, and alt text tags
• Optimization of internal linking structure and anchor text
• Working with SEO tools such as SEMRush, Google Analytics, and Search Console, etc.
• Web analytics to track performance of on-page optimization and ongoing re-optimization
• Communicate Analytics to key stakeholders at regular intervals
• Perform site audits and provide recommendations
• Create & Optimize New Page Templates
• Analyze data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Botify, SearchMetrics, SEMRush and/or other SEO platforms

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4 years of work experience in SEO or content writing
• Excellent English writing and grammar skills
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
