Ignite Digital Services has an exciting opportunity for a Program Management Consultant in our Charleston, SC office. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual that is a motivated self-starter with superior listening, effective communication, and organizational skills to support our customers Program Management operations. Individual will be responsible for the day-to-day management of cross-functional projects in support of the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) focused on the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC).
Responsibilities:
- Drive collaboration and communication necessary to ensure project success, including successful integration of projects and their dependencies.
- Project management responsibilities include requirements development, project planning, project execution, project sustainment/monitoring, and controlling projects
- within budget and within scope.
- Monitor progress toward project deliverables and milestones, including managing deadlines, monitoring and summarizing the progress of the project, and preparing project reports for senior leaders.
- Manage process improvement initiatives to align with long-term organizational strategy.
- Consult with team leadership to develop best practices for organizational processes.
- Reviews financial analyses with integrated scope, cost and schedule measures to assess performance.
- Support the development of annual budget and strategic plan.
- Evaluates cost, schedule and performance variances predicting potential variances and adjusts accordingly.
- Key contact for direct customer support requirements for designated projects.
- Develop, review, and negotiate designated project resources and milestones.
- Manage distributed teams to ensure goals are accomplished.
- Participate in project kickoffs and debriefs.
- Initiate, develop and present technical reports and white papers as required.
- Implements risk mitigation plan(s).
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Ten (10) years of experience in technical specifications development, process analysis and design, technical problem solving, and analytical/logical thinking.
Experience with Cybersecurity Operations, Cloud Computing and Information Assurance and relationship to project management.
Demonstrated experience as a presenter, technical report writer, meeting planner and facilitator.
Experience with customer relationship management and problem / incident management to deliver quality service to application sponsors, stakeholders and users.
Experience improving the accessibility of security through automation, continuous integration pipelines, and other innovative solutions
Experience leading teams in a rapidly changing environment
Ability to facilitate challenging conversations where IT standards and business demands conflict to generate pragmatic solutions
Ability to serve as an escalation point for customer concerns if/when they arise, and identify appropriate resolution to achieve client satisfaction in a timely manner
Able to obtain DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or Mathematics
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Experience with CMMI Maturity Level 3 organizational integration
Holds active DoD Secret security clearance
Salary: 95k to align with education and experience
