Financial Analyst – Sales & Credit
8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday
In this role, the successful candidate:
Manages and reconciles incoming confidential banking data into operating systems.
Develops DOMO reports for multiple departments and executives to support strategic and operations initiatives and improve company decision-making.
Contributes to QAD system upgrades and management.
Oversees operational effectiveness of the QAD system to ensure it is running according to the needs of the organization.
Manages incoming requests for financial review and entry into finance modules.
Assists with determining relevant and useful metrics based on changing business needs.
Implements QA integration strategies for large data sets.
Performs ad hoc analyses of business situations, systems, issues, and problems.
Research and tests new technologies for risk mitigation.
Develops financial models through benchmarking and process analysis.
Reviews and analyzes financial data and create reports on financial status based on the analysis results.
Prepares sales and cost projections.
Prepares and distributes monthly and quarterly reports.
Creates dashboards and visualizations.
Compares anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement.
Participates in budgeting (for departments and projects).
Reviews accounting transactions for data accuracy.
Maintains confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions.
Other duties as assigned.
What does it take to be successful?
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
5 years of experience in data analytics.
Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of SQL, Access, and VBA a plus.
Demonstrable critical thinking skills.
Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas) and PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of financial analytic software programs (e.g. Domo, Tableau, or Hyperion).
Working knowledge of and implementation experience with enterprise performance management software programs a plus.
Experience with systems integrations.
Familiar with financial analytics databases.
Basic understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP).
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues and all levels of management.
Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
Ability to learn technical concepts by reading work instructions and standard operating procedures, and completing on-the-job training.
Knowledge of cGMP regulations ISO 13485, 21CFR Part 820, CMDR SOR/98-282, 93/42/EEC, RDC 16 2013, MHLW MO 169 and TG(MD)R Sch3 preferred.
