Clinical Nurse Manager Opportunity - Women's Life Care

Aiken Regional Medical Centers,
located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia. Services provided at the hospital include emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health services.

The Nurse Manager
Provides twenty-four hour responsibility for personnel and operations of the Women’s LifeCare Center to include Labor and Delivery, Nursery and OB/Gyn. The Clinical Nurse Manager directs, supervises and evaluates the performance of the nursing staff, contributes to the development of a fully qualified and continuously improving staff and supports work redesign and quality improvement within the department. The Clinical Nurse Manager plans and administers the annual budget in collaboration with the Director. The Clinical Nurse Manager integrates evidence-based nursing practice utilizing the nursing process.

Qualifications:
BSN preferred; Current South Carolina RN license or eligible for licensure. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Minimum of three years of women’s nursing experience required. Knowledge of human resource management, program development, fiscal management skills, and familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards needed. BLS, Certification in specialty required.
