Summary
IGT is seeking a DQA Manager to lead a team of Design Quality Assurance and Engineering Technicians as the functional product expert and people manager. They work closely with the senior management from Engineering and Software to lead the testing and qualification of new and existing lottery hardware products and software foundational releases.
Responsibilities
Functionally the DQA Manager provides technical leadership to align staff and oversees the following:
- Test documentation development, product testing, and test equipment maintenance and certification.
- Records, reports, and defect trackers to accurately depict the status of product and/or software testing.
- Trains site resources as needed
- Creates and administers standard requirements and testing protocols for research, analyses, and product qualification.
- Maintains adequate staffing levels within the constraints of the overall budget. Provides staff with career development, counseling, and performance appraisals with the support of managers.
- Leads and motivates staff. Responsible for adherence to corporate departmental policies, procedures, and standards (including design and coding standards).
- Inputs to budget process and develops project estimates for new and changes to existing projects.

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (or equivalent job experience).
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of technical experience.
- Previous management experience would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience with Lottery hardware design and software components or related roles would be considered an asset.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $54,500 - $105,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
