Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager of North America Treasury Operations and Global Credit, the Treasury Analyst will support all aspects of Treasury activities for North America Gaming and Lottery. Along with strong technical, analytical and communication skills, the ideal candidate must be detail orientated, organized, flexible and self-motivated. This position requires corporate cash management or treasury experience and an understanding of GAAP.
- Prepare daily cash position and ensure adequate liquidity
- Prepare and update Cash Forecast
- Initiate wire transfers
- Place foreign currency trades
- Short-term debt management
- Adhering to regulatory requirements
- Review and post journal entries
- Establish and build collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners
- Ability to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
- Track and assist in the issuance of letters of credit, bonds, and intercompany loans
- Online banking portal administrator
- Assist with cash management strategies in terms of banking relationships, maintaining optimal bank account structure (including opening/closing/updating authorized account signers) and bank fee management
- Continuously adhere to Treasury and Accounting policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Accounting, Finance, Economics
- 3 years of Treasury, Finance or Accounting experience; Treasury experience preferred
- Understanding of GAAP
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
- Communicate (both written and verbal) effectively with internal and external business partners
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- CTP preferred
- SAP experience preferred
