Research Enrollment Specialist Remote

Job Description: The Research Enrollment Specialist level I assists in duties and activities associated with supporting clinical research and research studies at Intermountain Healthcare. The Research Enrollment Specialist I learns to enroll participants in research projects and assists with other research-related study duties in various research projects that furthers the goals of the Investigator and the Research Department. The position communicates with research participants via in-person, phone calls, mail-outs, and Internet. After training, the Research Enrollment Specialist is expected to understand and follow research protocols and provide appropriate documentation. This may include collecting, inputting, and maintaining data in Intermountain and external databases. In addition, this position works to ensure that applicable study supplies are available prior to study initiation and throughout the study period. And acts as a problem solver by utilizing available resources to research, to address any procedural issues. Minimum Qualifications Experience using basic computer programs including word processing, database, spreadsheet applications and e-mail. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Demonstrated customer service skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a research role. Customer service experience Physical Requirements: Physical Requirements Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information. Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands. See and read computer monitors and documents. Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
