Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance departments
- Coordinate and manage catering and banquet events, ensuring smooth execution and customer satisfaction
- Supervise and train staff members in various departments, including food production, bartending, and customer service
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and teamwork
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
Skills:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff and guests
- Knowledge of catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service standards
- Proficient in using computer systems for reservations, inventory management, and reporting purposes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery
Note: Experience in coffee-related operations is a plus.
