KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will be responsible for leading the Facility department, including managing the equipment, processes and personnel assigned. This position requires off-hours support for mission critical equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Responsible for, and subject matter expert on, all Facility and site support equipment
-Manage facility personnel including hiring, discipline, training, retention, career development, and enforcing company and regulatory policies
-Manage preventive maintenance schedules and procedures as well as parts supplies and related consumables inventories
-Manage supplier relationships
-Manage facility budget and spending
-Manage contractors and enforce company and regulatory policies
-Specify, procure, install and commission new facility and site support equipment
-Maintain records per company and regulatory requirements
-Promote a safe work environment throughout the facility and during all maintenance work
-Working knowledge of federal, state, local and company requirements and regulations including OSHA, PSM (Process Safety Management), EPA (including RMP, Risk Management Program, and RCRA, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act), and the department of labor
-Ensure all equipment installations, operations and repairs are done in accordance with all applicable codes and regulations
-Responsible for hazardous waste management
Responsibilities include working outdoors and exposure to outside weather conditions. Physical effort may be required to access and perform maintenance duties. Physical activities include walking, squatting, bending, pushing, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's or higher degree in a related field
-10+ years' experience managing Facility equipment and personnel
-5+ years' project management experience
-Excellent communication skills
-Willing to work off hours and weekends as needed for coordinated shut-downs, start-ups and critical repairs.
-Medical qualification to wear respiratory protection
-Emergency Response Team experience (HazWoper)
-Working knowledge of building automation software
