What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at iJAG?

What you would do as a Program Manager:
- Implements the iJAG model within several school districts
- Builds relationships with school administration, including principals, associate principals, and other district leaders
- Understands needs of school district and employs solutions-based problem solving
- Utilizes data to determine needs of student population and propose programmatic solutions
- Communicates frequently with stakeholders as to site performance
- Identifies opportunities for expansion of services within districts
- Liaises with Area Directors and district personnel to implement new program sites
- Oversees team of Education Specialists
- Responsible to hire, coach, and support Education Specialists within region of school districts
- Conducts site visits and observes classrooms to ensure the iJAG model is adhered to and standards are met
- Ensures various deadlines are met by team, including documentation, training, event preparation, data input, and more
- Completes timely performance evaluations for direct reports
- Connects Education Specialists and Strategic Partnership Managers to bring potential student employers into classrooms
- Provides support and resources to team as needed in areas such as Project Based Learning, Trauma Informed Care, and Employer Engagement
- Active member of the Leadership Team, providing input on organizational processes, policies, and direction
- Participates in the following committees: Events, Training, Data, and Program Expansion
- Prepares outcome reports and site updates to be presented at executive levels
- Participates in national and state seminars as appropriate
- Advocate for the iJAG program and enhance its visibility in all external interactions
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you need to do the job:
- Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) in education, social sciences, or related field
- 3 years experience successfully managing a team that includes remote staff
- Understanding of education methods and classroom teaching
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work well both independently and with a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite applications
- Ability to understand and use data to inform instructional decisions for student success
- Passion for student success and the iJAG mission
- Travel required (primarily day travel)

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
