Production Associate / Electrical Controls Assembler
We are looking for a full-time production associate for our client in Elkwood, VA. The position is Monday- Thursday from 7 am- 5:30 pm and pays $17 an hour.
Production Assistant / Electrical Controls Assembler Tasks:
Associate will be trained onsite.
Hand-wire electrical control components to one another.
Assemble hand-wired components in control boxes.
Use had tools daily (wire stripper, screw drivers, torque wrenches)
Neatley add labels to finished products
Accurately complete Work Order paper work daily (start/stop times, signatures, etc.)
Will be trained to use Voltmeter and Ohmmeter and read basic wirings schematics.
Will be trained to test controls panels (QC).
Neatly pack and box finished product.
Keep and maintain clean and organized work station.
Assist with annual inventory.
Handle additional tasks as needed and trained.

Essential Job Functions:
Must be able to occasionally lift up to and including 30lbs throughout the 10-hour shift.
Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, up to and including 10 hours.
Must be able to read and communicate effectively.
Must be able to read a tape measure.
