- One year of experience in warehouse receiving, shipping and picking functions
- Knowledge of IKEA Systems preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Responsible, self-motivated individual with a strong sense of urgency
- Be a dynamic, action-oriented team player that is self-motivated and confident in making independent decisions
- A clear understanding of, and a passion for IKEA values and principles
- Communicate and partner with co-worker’s across all levels of the organization
- Use creative problem-solving skills in conjunction with IKEA’s co
- Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-worker’s and customers.
- Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned
- Must be able to work at elevated heights
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Perform routine cycle counts, conduct inbound, and outbound shipment audits
- Works with Stock Control department to support overall IKEA inventory routines
- Improve the accuracy and integrity of our inventory
- Coach co-workers with stock control procedures and process are being followed
- Process daily ship zero report including counting of addresses
- Process daily stock control paperwork and requests
- Document and process all missing articles
