What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Cashier position at Ilé LA LLC?
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Restaurant Cashier/Host to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to provide excellent customer service, handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, and maintain a clean and organized work area. As a Restaurant Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, so a positive and professional attitude is essential.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they arrive and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Process cash and credit card transactions using Toast point of sale (POS) system.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and balance all transactions at the end of each shift.
- Answer customer questions regarding menu items, pricing, and promotions.
- Upsell menu items and promotions to customers when appropriate.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Be aware of dietary restrictions for guests and ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with these restrictions.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assisting the Kitchen Manager with duties during service.
- Other duties as assigned.
