We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience preparing upscale casual and fine dining cuisine, enjoys working in a busy restaurant environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively. A successful candidate will have restaurant industry experience, a passion for food prep, and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work at a fast-paced restaurant.
- Prepare hot and cold foods from scratch.
- Prepare side dishes and appetizers.
- Follow recipes and specifications laid out by the executive chef.
- Prepare foods for cooking and plating by other cooks and chefs.
- Prepare and cook meat, poultry, seafood, nuts, seeds, beans, fruits, vegetables; dairy products, breads, pasta; stocks, margarine, oils; sauces (reduced fat); gravies; soups; gravies; puddings; custards; pies; cakes (tiered); cookies (tiered); soufflés.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
