What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School English Teacher position at iLearn Education?
Teachers will perform a full range of duties, including but not limited to:
· Teach writing to high school students both in group or individually
· Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students.
· Responsible for all lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and other instructional materials and methods of teaching in your classroom
· Employ a variety of instructional techniques, and performance assessments to promote learning, creativity and collaboration
· Be flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly demanding environment.
Qualification
· Bachelor's degree
· Solid background in English reading and writing is a must
· Teaching experience in high school is required
· Love of literature and a passion for reading and writing
· Commitment to ensuring academic success for all students
· Excellent teamwork player with high expectations and detail-oriented heart
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
