Looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to assist the Operations Manager at a chemical plant. This position is located in Chicago IL.
The Maintenance Supervisor is directly responsible for the supervision of the Maintenance Department’s mechanics and Reliability Engineer. They are to ensure that all plant areas and equipment are maintained and operated in an efficient, safe, and reliable manner. They have the accountability to ensure high safety, productivity, quality of workmanship, and engagement of the maintenance team in the assigned facility. They set departmental goals and provide direction, guidance and development opportunities for all the maintenance employees. They partner with operations leadership to ensure safe, predictable manufacturing processes and reliability.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS /EXPERIENCE

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS /EXPERIENCE
· Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical background, with a minimum of 8 years leadership responsibilities
· Experience of successfully leading TPR/TPM execution
· Experience, knowledge or formal training in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma
· A proven track record of driving results by engaging others
· Previous experience/proficiency with navigating maintenance management systems (i.e. CMMS)
· Proficiency with utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
