A Day in the Life of a Motorcycle Porter at Harley Davidson!
As a Porter here at Illinois Harley Davidson, you will drive motorcycles to and from service lane, service stalls or parking lot as needed, move and organize new and used inventory as needed by manager, maintain a clean and organized showroom and lot appearance at all times, and keep inventory fueled and available for test drives. The ability to work weekends is important in this role.
*Current motorcycle license is required and must be able to push/lift 50 pounds*
Duties Include:
- Placing stock tags on bikes.
- Keeping new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving inventory as directed by sales manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
- Cleaning driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
- Driving bikes to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
- Making key tags for bikes.
- Advising immediate supervisor if leaving lot for any reason.
- Performing pick up and / or delivery of bikes to the customers and factory.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
