The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Child Support Services is seeking to hire a motivated candidate to serve as an Office Coordinator assigned to our Southern Region. Under the direction of the Clerical Supervisor, this position will analyze child support accounts receivables, keyboards letters, forms, records, and other documents relative to income withholding operations related to the Southern Region. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of office practices, procedures, and programs with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Job Responsibilities
- Performs complex and specialized procedures to achieve the service of income withholding orders or to otherwise dispose of delinquency referrals
- Reviews and analyzes accounts through the comparison of Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) computer records and Clerk of the Court payment records to determine correct delinquency referrals
- Gathers information and issues notices of delinquency to responsible relative whose accounts meet established delinquency guidelines
- Gathers information and issues referrals for accounts in need of adjustment to designated accounting staff and referrals for cases in need of legal action to attorneys for Child Support Specialists
- Establishes and monitors tracking procedures to monitor status of notices of delinquency, income withholding, and other work in progress
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to two years of secretarial/business college, or completion of high school and two years of related office experience, or two years of independent business experience
Conditions of Employment
- This position requires the ability to pass a national background check prior to employment due to accessing confidential federal tax information
- Requires the ability to utilize and maintain state issued equipment such as a laptop
- Requires the ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate
