Image 2000 was established 30 years ago as an Office Technology company in Southern California. We now operate from 7 different branches across California and Las Vegas, further expanding into the Software Solutions and Managed Services space.
We are looking to train the next generation of elite sales professionals to help our company reach the next level of success! Our Business Development Specialists are self-starters who are passionate and driven to prove their potential. They start on the ground floor and, with strong training and development, move into Sales Account Executive roles within 6 months to 2 years, depending on performance. On target earning expectations for Year 1 are $50K-$60K, with overperformers exceeding $60K.
Cold calling is the foundation of this role. The Business Development Specialist will email and cold call potential clients to develop a robust pipeline of prospects. You will successfully navigate conversations with potential customers by quickly identifying areas of need and communicating our value to them. You must take initiative, think outside the box, and be driven to meet weekly, monthly, and annual goals.
BDS Responsibilities:
- Identify, source, & develop new business opportunities via outbound calls, email, and social media
- Become an expert in our company business portfolio including Office Technology, Software Solutions & I.T.
- Understand prospective clients' needs and educate them on the impact of our services
- Listen to client feedback and identify concerns and/or pain points
- Leverage Image 2000 Solutions portfolio to solve problems
- Follow up on marketing leads via email and phone
- Maintain and update an accurate log of activity in our CRM system (HubSpot)
- Receive lapsed leads and requalify
Minimum Qualifications:
- Highly motivated, engaging, and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-starter, resourceful, persistent & resilient. In a word...GRIT!
- Excel in a fast-paced, metrics-based, high-call volume environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office Suite
- 1-3 years prospecting for sales opportunities

This position is our entry-level opening, with a direct path to promotion. This is an on-site position only! The average BDS (Business Development Specialist) is in this role for 6 months to 2 years, depending on sales performance and skill development. On target earning expectations for Year 1 are $50K-$60K, with overperformers exceeding $60K.
