We are seeking a passionate and collaborative display/environmental designer to join our remarkable team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to impact every aspect of our business and will serve as the frontline resource for our clients, helping them innovate their visions into reality.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Serves customers by advising, creating, developing structural designs solutions to meet client expectations and needs
- Participates in creative research by following client goals and marketing strategies, and working with sales to find solution for clients; creating innovative designs, concepts, and presentations
- Design structures out of permanent or semi-permanent materials considering structural integrity and testing, including concept prototyping and safety
- Completes projects by compiling information and working within the timetables set, offering feedback to the Director, sales and clients so realistic timetables can be set
- Present creative concepts to clients and in-house account personnel for consideration
- Prepare engineering documents for fabrication of approved concepts.
- Maintains created and supplied files, e-mails, conversations, and info from clients and the sales department
- Aid in prototyping and installation on an as needed basis.

Skills and Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate’s degree in industrial design, engineering, or equivalent
- Portfolio of relevant work (less than 15mb or accessible online)
- Demonstrable understanding of industrial design process/methodology
- Ability to collaborate with team members involved in all aspects of the creative process.
- Proficiency with Solidworks 3D modeling software
- Proficiency with Keyshot or related rendering software
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, and Photoshop
- Excellent visual and written communication skills (sketching / basic technical writing)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D CAD software
- Working knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Must have excellent prioritization skills, be detailed orientated, and the ability to work well under pressure
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds
- Ability to visually inspect all work for defects
- Manual dexterity for repetitive work
