Mobile Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions about menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; report shortages to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere.

Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Experience with cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Basic math skills for processing payments and making change.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling practices in the food industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a café setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
