Envision Your Experience
The Professional Development Specialist is an experienced and successful professional educator who provides curriculum specific support, training, and guidance in the implementation of Imagine Learning’s Odell Education. Supports improvements in teaching and learning by collaborating with district leaders, school administration and teachers to plan, implement and sustain the successful adoption of Odell Education.
Master the Odell Education program and assist with customized PD for Baltimore Public Schools.- Work closely to build relationships with Baltimore Public Schools and support their training and implementations of Odell Education within the Imagine Learning Classroom
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships through regular contact and visits with all levels of the Baltimore Public School District administration and leadership to maintain communication
- Deliver engaging, small, and large group presentations centered on district/school teaching and learning recommendations while modeling instructional best practices.
- Coach teachers and instructional personnel on; how to integrate digital and curriculum solutions into their daily practices
- Submit Training Requests, update and maintain customer records with session summaries and recommendations for next steps.
- Update and maintain accurate personal records including calendar, expenses, personal time off requests, etc. according to timelines and expectations.
- Provide follow-up and instructional recommendations for school personnel.
- Manage multiple schools and additional projects simultaneously while focusing on the forecasted delivery of services reflecting seasonal deviations of activity.
- Respond to internal and external customer communication as part of a matrixed service team.
- Document student usage and improvement data, interpret this information, deliver data presentations to the district providing constructive program input, guidance on best practices and suggestions to drive student improvement.
- Maintain the ability and availability to work flexible hours and travel to school sites, driving and maintaining a valid Motor Vehicle Driver License in state of residence and an acceptable driving record.
- Maintain fingerprint clearance.
- Other duties as required.
- Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position.
- Location: In this US-based position your location will be hybrid, based out of your home office. Must be located in the greater Baltimore area.
- Travel: You can also expect to travel up to 50-90%, so be sure you have a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.

Share Your Expertise
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
- Master’s degree or higher in education and 5 years of experience with blended and/or online learning; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Experience delivering successful, high-quality professional development or coaching and/or directly supporting high school professional development programs
- Teaching and/ or curriculum and instruction experience interacting with and influencing key decision-makers.
- Ability to effectively work remotely and independently.
- Ability to lead consulting projects proactively, delivering services on time and within budget.
- Highly motivated with demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (from 50% up to 90% at seasonal peaks); overnight travel is expected.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, online video chat and database software.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite and understanding of cloud-based Web Technology (preferred).
- Current Fingerprint Clearance Card, or provide proof of application, within 7 days of hire.
