Immedia Integrated Technologies is a 20-year-old workplace technology company providing audiovisual and communications technology for commercial applications. We design, build, and support conferencing, learning, entertainment, and marketing technologies for enterprise clients.
In 2020 Immedia’s CEO/Founder designed a one-of-a-kind 14ksf showroom. The Southwest Experience Center and Immedia’s corporate offices. The Southwest Experience Center changed the game of finding new clients to serve.
Materials Manager:
Manages Procurement team including productivity, development and tasks. Build and maintain strong business vendor relationships and seek out new or alternate vendors as required. Reviews purchase pre-order and setup documentation. Oversees materials process is followed and cost control is within budget and expected schedule delivery dates. Hands on implementation of MRP system (NetSuite). Ensure materials are on-time received for Project team deliveries based on JIT project installations and schedules. Will perform back-up/support tasks for buyer and procurement agent responsibilities. Provides financial direction in line with corporate goals and financial needs. Implements Customer Service Revolution and Power of Moments within teams and with clients/partners. Monitors and implements improvements to drive goals.
Hands-on with reviewing ERP/MRP and placing/updating purchase orders, updating delivery estimates, and communicating with the vendors, manufacturers, and distributors.
Coordinate, as necessary, special procurement needs that the engineering or sales teams may have which are out of the norm. Establish accounts and obtain product pricing with new vendors sourced by Engineering or Sales for new projects.Participate in final design reviews to ensure the MRP system has the correct B.O.M. to be ordered. Coordinate changes with Engineering and/or Project Management. Maintain supplier data in Dtools and NetSuite (pricing, lead-times, primary vendor information, etc.). Coordinate all supplier VIRs, SPIFFs and all other rebates that produce payments in some form or fashion to Immedia. Coordinate with USAV to ensure all contract payments are entered for those suppliers enrolled in this program.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to type; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand or walk for periods of time. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
Skills, Certifications, and Preferred Experience
Four-year college or university degree and at least ten years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in a similar position.
Professional Certification desired (i.e. C.P.M. or APICS CPIM Certification).
Experience in managing a procurement / buying team, utilizing ERP/MRP.
Fluent in business software applications, including but not limited to:Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams
NetSuite or some type of MRP/ERP system (SAP, JDE, etc.) experience preferred, but not mandatory
Will be hands on with the procurement process, along with 10 employees in the warehouse & procurement department.
Must have worked in an environment that has multiple products and vendors that are purchased – Managing 20K potential SKUs to order.
