Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain the ability to perform any/all tasks within the plasma center and supervise donor flow
- Ensures that accurate and thorough documentation of necessary records related to the donor collection is performed within ImmunoTek procedures, policies, and other applicable requirements
- Assure facility is maintained in a neat and clean condition and all equipment is kept in good working order
- Routinely perform operational and compliance reviews to assure the center is following company policies and customer requirements, as it applies to the donation process and donor flow.
- Assist in the training of new employees, retraining of current employees, perform employee performance observations, and initiate immediate corrective actions
- Assist in machine/device resource management
- Assist Assistant Manager in the identification and interviewing of line staff candidates for available positions
- Build rapport with donors to ensure overall customer service satisfaction and maintain donor retention
- Report all unsafe situations or conditions to management
- Assist with the development and implementation of marketing initiatives
- Assist in the creation of the employee schedule
- Assist in the coordination of breaks and staffing to ensure efficient donor processing
- Assist in end-of-day closing operations
- Assist in the reporting of minor donor complaints
- Must be trained in all line-staff operations of the center
- Must attend all staff meetings and training sessions
- Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One (1) year experience in a fast-paced, customer service related industry required
- Ability to become certified as a Phlebotomist, DCT 2, Plasma Processor, and Designated Trainer within three (2) months of accepting the position
- Ability to complete PCS training, certification, repair, and troubleshoot PCS machines within four (4) months of accepting position

- Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and center information
- Maintain thorough familiarity and compliance with all state and federal regulations, FDA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and ImmunoTek company procedures
- Ability to train and develop staff as needed
- Other duties, as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
- Frequent leaning, bending, stooping, crouching, and reaching above the shoulders and below the knee
- Ability to train in plasma collection areas
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time for up to four (4) hours at a time
- Ability to lift, tug, pull up to fifty (50) pounds
- Ability to travel by plane, or car as required to train or assist other centers as needed
Work Environment
- Typical work environment with moderate noise level
- May be exposed to freezing temperatures for short periods of time
- Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens
