Responsibilities
This position is open due to company and product line growth. This a great opportunity to grow your career. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate are as follows:
- Creating electronic product specifications and designs in CAD and SolidWorks
- Discovering and designing electronic product improvement opportunities
- Working with IoT
- Helping create IoT in devices
- Working with consumer electronics products that could save lives
- Participating in the discussions about the direction the company should go with products
- Collaborating with a team of test lab engineers, mechanical engineers, technicians and product development engineers
- Collaborating with attorneys if something is already patented
- Aiding in the patent process
- A four-year electrical engineering degree
- Two years of consumer electric product design experience
- One year of Printed Circuit Board Assembly exposure
- One year of IoT exposure
- Knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility and Electromagnetic Interference
- Knowledge of Radio Frequency and wireless communication
- Some EDA Tool experience for Printed Circuit Board Assembly
- A solid work history
- A US citizen or possess a green card
- A residence within 45 minutes
