Pediatric Oncology Sales Consultant
ImpactBio has partnered with Fennec Pharmaceuticals Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the development of development of PEDMARKTM (a unique formulation of sodium thiosulfate (STS)) for the prevention of platinum-induced ototoxicity in pediatric patients. ImpactBio is building and employing the new sales team to support Fennec in the promotion of PEDMARK™.
Fennec initiated a rolling New Drug Application (NDA) for PEDMARK for the prevention of ototoxicity induced by cisplatin chemotherapy patients 1 month to < 18 years of age with localized, non-metastatic, solid tumors in December 2018. Role Summary:
The Pediatric Oncology Sales Consultant will be responsible for successful launch of the first potential commercialized product for the company, within their given territory. She/he will be externally focused and represent the "voice of the customer" to the home office.
Fennec's Oncology team is committed to improving the lives of pediatric patients with cancer. The Pediatric Oncology Sales Consultant is a key member of their customer facing organization and is responsible for partnering with customers to address identified needs, and (within compliance guidelines) educating key stakeholders about the product; which will potentially be the only therapy available to prevent life-long ototoxicity as a complication of chemotherapy in children with solid tumors.
