Service Technician

The Field Service Technician will be responsible to install and maintain equipment. The technician will also be assisting customers by providing excellent service, which includes performing preventative maintenance for customers who lease our dish machines, and purchase chemical products for laundry, housekeeping, and kitchen applications from Imperial Dade.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls during normal business hours.
• Maintain clean and orderly service truck including inventory for equipment and parts
• Install and maintain laundry, kitchen, and housekeeping dilution control machines
• Maintain service records in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Hands on experience servicing the food service and hospitality industry is preferred
• Electrical experience is preferred
• Plumbing experience is preferred
• Experience with various makes of commercial dish washers and dispensing equipment and installations is preferred
• Clear MVR
• High standard of workmanship and professionalism
• Good troubleshooting ability
• Be on call for Emergency calls
• Excellent communication skills
• Understand principles of operation of dish machines and laundry machine functions
• Proficiency with computer applications and use, email, etc.
• Ability to keep up with the physical demands of the position, such as bending, kneeling, squatting, lifting, and climbing
