Job Summary:

The Senior Content Strategist will focus on owning and executing the content strategy for IPFS. This includes social media, sales presentations and collateral, CEO and other executive communications, website and landing pages, product marketing plans and communications, email campaigns, and a wide variety of other content assignments. The Senior Content Strategist will maintain a clear and consistent brand voice that amplifies our technology expertise, distinct thought leadership, and innovative solutions. The strategies and content produced by the candidate will enable internal and external audiences to understand and take advantage of the value provided by our products and services.

Our ideal Senior Content Strategist will be exceptionally resourceful, and a strong researcher, outstanding writer, strategist, editor, and proofreader. He or she will have a strong desire to see results by tracking the effectiveness of content-based campaigns, improving our processes, and fine-tuning our messaging every step of the way. Examples of regular content writing assignments include executive communications, sales sheets, emails, blogs, social media, white papers, case studies, scripts, speeches, digital advertising copy, RFP responses, presentations, and more. He or she will complete these works efficiently, thoroughly, and with persistent follow-up with subject-matter experts and when obtaining approvals.  

Key Responsibilities: 

• Research, interview, write, manage edits, gain approval, and publish clear, concise and persuasive content for both internal and external audiences across multiple mediums and various target audiences. Acting as “communications gatekeeper,” review and edit all external content for accuracy, style, grammar, spelling, syntax and punctuation, upholding the IPFS brand and communications standards.
• Own, develop and manage the IPFS and affiliate content strategy and plan for both internal and external audiences, focusing on IPFS’ core competency and ancillary solutions, value propositions, forward-thinking and futuristic vision, and our holistic technology platform approach. Includes developing and maintaining timelines, channels, messaging, objectives and KPIs, allowing for improvement and course-correcting every step of the way. 
• Collaborate with the marketing team, internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to participate in the development and deployment of marketing campaigns such as digital marketing, trade show promotions, product go-to-market plans and more. 
• Work with the marketing team to utilize HubSpot and internal teams (such as Data Analytics and Salesforce teams) for the research, writing, development and execution of ongoing, often complex and multi-faceted, email campaigns including product launches and releases, customer welcome emails, lead lifecycle and drip/nurture, and re-engagement campaigns. Work within the marketing team to collect data and report on the success of these campaigns. 
• Create, own, manage and update the IPFS Style Guide for companywide, consistent messaging and communication delivery, both internally and externally. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• 5 years experience in a marketing related position
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including proficiency in copywriting that is targeted to internal associates, B2B decision-makers with various titles, and to the public/diverse audiences
• Ability to work within tight deadlines while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and assertive but courteous follow-up, and completion of tasks on time
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment
• Inspiration to be a transformational change agent, focused on creating inviting, integrated, and engaging external and internal messages
• Write clear and persuasive copy for blogs, case studies, white papers, video scripts, ads, brochures, presentations, sales materials, executive communications, email campaigns, and much more
• Successful, proactive, and direct interaction with executives and senior management
• Patience and skill in navigating cross-functional teams
• Strong Microsoft Office experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
• Experience in HubSpot is preferred but not required
  

Education:

College degree preferred or related experience
