Well-established, highly successful, and rapidly growing Midwest-based home remodeling leader seeks a dynamic, hard-working, high-integrity, entry-level recruiter.
The Entry-Level Recruiter is responsible for recruiting for our growing businesses and will play the lead role in our sales and corporate recruiting efforts for our corporate office, as well as our branch offices. The Entry Leve Recruiter will have a major role in sourcing and screening for our hiring needs, as well as collaborating with managers in the organization to meet hiring goals.
The Entry-Level Recruiter will report directly to Talent Acquisition Manager and will support company efforts and will assist in creating and publishing job ads, interviewing candidates, managing ATS functions and processes, providing accurate reporting on recruiting activities, and maintaining and improving our employer brand, ensuring we attract and hire people who contribute to our company's growth.
Entry-Level Recruiter Job Functions
- Create and post job openings on a variety of job boards/sites
- Review resumes for fit with open positions
- Perform initial phone screens and schedule first interviews
- Perform reference and other types of background check duties
- Collaborate with management to assist in meeting staffing needs
- Mine resume databases and other sources for passive candidates
- Research & implement new methods to recruit target candidates
- Update our applicant management system
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years prior recruiting, marketing, sales or customer service experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Expert technical skills, including use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience using recruiting management systems, a plus
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities efficiently and meet assigned deadlines
- Highly organized
- Self-motivated
- Outgoing, positive, and persuasive

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required (psychology, organizational leadership, HR preferred)
- 2 years of experience in HR and recruiting required
- Background in recruiting or sales, a plus
- Insatiable drive and a strong aptitude for creating and maintaining the best recruiting approaches for our organization
- Proven track record of recruiting to company needs and maintaining bench depth
- Experience with a wide variety of recruiting tactics and approaches
- Proficient in administering and interpreting pre-hire assessments and testing instruments
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships
