What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Manager position at INCATech LLC?
Valiant has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Manager (FM) supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency’s (DTRA) International Counterproliferation Program (ICP) and the Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI) under the On-site Inspections and Building Partner Capacity (OB) Directorate, Building Partner Capacity Department. These programs are designed to enhance a partner nation’s capacity to prevent WMD proliferation attempts by building capabilities to detect, interdict, and recover WMD and related items at land, air, and maritime ports of entry (POEs). The efforts include building the capacity of partner nations to disrupt proliferation networks through an application of detection, investigation, and prosecution of violations of laws related to WMD and dual-use items. This is accomplished by providing training, enhancing training capacity, and providing equipment with subsequent maintenance. The FM will maintain financial oversight of ICP and PSI mission events (including changes and associated cost impacts) as well as supporting all associated and other reporting as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain oversight of ICP/PSI event costs, including any required or requested projections, estimates and actual cost data.
- Provide an expedient analysis of cost impacts due to increases and decreases in cost drivers, such as the number of Partner Nation participant numbers, logistical requirements, shipping, interpreters, labor hours, etc.
- Support the monthly report deliverable requirement.
- Provide an event cost comparison outside of the monthly report when directed or requested.
