Onsite Services Manager

Compensation: $90,000-$100,000

Onsite Services Manager:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Onsite Services Manager to join their team!

The Onsite Services manager will lead a team of desktop engneers in the operation and maintenance of all desktop systems at the company's natural gas plant.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the desktop engineering team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Develop and implement desktop engineering strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the plant's objectives and industry best practices.
• Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of desktop hardware, software, and peripherals, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with IT and operational teams to identify desktop engineering requirements, prioritize projects, and implement solutions that support operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of desktop systems, identifying areas for improvement, risk mitigation, and cost optimization.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement of desktop equipment and services, ensuring value for money and adherence to quality standards.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in desktop engineering and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
• Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and knowledge sharing initiatives to empower users and support ongoing skill development within the team.
• Act as a point of escalation for complex desktop engineering issues, providing timely resolution and effective communication to stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the desktop engineering team and across the organization.
  
  

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working as a Desktop or Help Desk Manager
• Proven experience in desktop engineering or a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical proficiency in desktop hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office), and remote access tools.
• Solid understanding of networking principles, security protocols, and IT infrastructure components.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, resource planning, and budget management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
