What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Liaison position at Inception?
The Physician Liaison is responsible for building physician (OBGYN) referral relationships in the surrounding areas of the designated practice(s); collaborating and implementing operations initiatives designed to enhance profile and reputation of the practice in the community. The Physician Liaison actively supports and promotes our commitment to providing compassionate, comprehensive, state-of-the-art fertility care to all patients. This position will cover Miami, Cooper and Naples, Florida.
The right candidate will be highly professional with an exceptional knack for building strong sales relationships with healthcare practices and physicians to drive patient referrals, be an expert in understanding the consultative sales process, be highly organized with great communication skills and a servant leader point of view. They should be comfortable and knowledgeable in presenting complex medical treatment information and data to varied audiences including physicians and administrators. This person will be able leverage previous experience to complete tasks such account management, sales calls, educational marketing events and presentations to physicians and direct to the consumer.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify referral sources and maintain and grow physician referrals through on-site visits to (OB/GYN) referring office, networking events, trade shows, community functions and patient education/outreach events that align with current strategies of the practice
- Continually share feedback from the market to initiate, in conjunction with the appropriate managers, operations-based changes in our services to better serve our referring offices
- Build strong partnerships with nurses and front desk teams in referring and prospective offices
- Helps with maintenance and ordering of marketing materials for the clinics and the field
- Research and recommend public relation opportunities
- Identify and monitor competitor activities and efforts within the area
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to assist in developing brand and multifaceted marketing programs focused on attracting patients
- Provide content and manage print ad creation
- Collect and develop fresh content for publication on the practice’s website, as well as their social media outlets
- Support established metrics and measures of success for all local referral efforts, including a metrics dashboard to report outcomes weekly, monthly and quarterly
Marketing / Business Development
- Collaborate with internal and external physician and management leadership to assist in developing local marketing programs focused on attracting patients

- Can articulate the many points of difference we have as it relates to the patient experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working with physicians/providers, medical practice office staff, or other medical specialties, women’s health preferred
- Outgoing personality with superior oral and written communication skills
