JOB DESCRIPTION

The company is actively seeking a Program Manager to support business process and technology implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation of significant and complex enterprise-wide Business programs through the execution of multiple projects. Projects will focus on process simplification and optimization, new technology implementations, migrations of legacy systems to best-of-breed technology platforms. The role requires working with cross-functional leaders and teams from Enterprise IT, Sales, Finance, Business Operations, and other business units to deliver successful outcomes.

You will be responsible for:

  • All aspects of project management: the direction, planning and budgeting, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of specific projects while ensuring consistency with the company’ overall business strategy, standards & ethics, commitments, and goals.
  • Managing the implementation of large and complex programs.
  • Provides overall leadership and support to one or more project teams.
  • Acts as front-line contact on program related activities, issues, and risks Manages risks and issues and takes corrective measurements.
  • Planning and monitoring the progress of project schedules, budgets, active stakeholder communication and management, assignment and tracking of project tasks to project resources. Partners with purchasing to develop POs and manages suppliers and vendor relationships. Manages stakeholders’ communication.
  • Defines the program governance (controls)
  • Plans the overall program and monitors the progress and performs daily program management throughout the program life cycle. Responsible for ensuring that all programs and projects meet budget, strategic, and business requirements upon delivery.
  • May manage the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives and goals, providing feedback and guidance.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership ability, technical and business acumen and industry knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, with Executive Level reporting and escalation experience.
  • Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple sites.
  • Communication across programs, projects, and areas (business functions and IT functions)
  • Background in the development of strategic and tactical planning of technology and people resources necessary for successful completion of several large-scale projects.
  • Ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives with a minimal amount of supervision.
  • Ability to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change.
  • Ability to make decisions independently and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and financial skills.
  • Ability to innovate under new and/or changing conditions.
  • Ability to identify and manage priorities as demonstrated by the ability to establish, track, and meet schedules for multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service.
  • Be familiar with attributes of AHL products and evaluation process/tools.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field plus generally ten years of directly related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate customer meetings, negotiate and influence outcomes.
  • Strong program/project management and leadership skills, utilizing personnel from multiple disciplines.
  • Ability to identify and manage priorities as demonstrated by the ability to establish, track, and meet schedules for multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service.
  • Strong working technical and/or IT development experience.
