POSITION: GL Accountant
REPORTS TO: Corporate Controller
LOCATION: Theodore, Alabama
INCOA Performance Minerals supplies fine, ultrafine, and treated ground calcium carbonate (GCC) for North American markets from our state-of-the-art processing plant near Mobile, AL. Our ultra-high-purity GCC can be used as a functional additive in a variety of end-products including film & fiber, pipe & conduit, vinyl profile, FRP, CASE, nutrition and pharmaceutical. We offer a unique starting mineral that provides customers with a brand-new option for their ground calcium carbonate needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree, 2 years of job-related experience.
- Knowledge of accounting and financial operating norms.
- Familiar with Quickbooks Online.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail & organizational skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Deadline oriented.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
EMPLOYEE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Reconcile various balance sheet accounts every month. Including inventories, prepaids, production items, PP&E, accruals, etc.
- Invoice customers daily based on their specific pricing, including emailing the
- invoices to the customers.
- Regularly works with customer service to ensure invoicing is accurate.
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts and credit cards.
- Helps maintain our fixed assets using our company software making appropriate entries for additions, deletions, or transfers, etc.
- Enter in employee expense reports using journal entries.
- Work with the CFO and Controller on various projects as needed.
