The Position:
- Responsible for supporting the quoting and ordering process for commercial and residential sectional garage doors through the creation of door assembly drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Create 2-dimensional drawings in AutoCAD.
- Exterior view scaled Depiction Drawings.
- Interior view Application Drawings with installation, track, and operator dimensioning.
- Apply standard calculations and guidelines for installation clearances and reaction loads.
- Pro-actively communicate with Customer Care and internal support teams to resolve product configuration questions.
- Read, interpret, and understand bills of materials.
- Check dimensions, verify finished work, and compile required documentation.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in CAD design and/or drafting; or equivalent.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficient knowledge of Drafting practices.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
