Job Title: RN - Telemetry

Location: Syracuse, NY, 13203

Contract Type: Contract (Onsite)

Duration: 3 months

Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (19:00 - 07:30), Total 36 hours per week. Includes every other weekend and holiday. No on-call requirements.

Summary: Seeking an experienced RN for Telemetry to join our acute medical inpatient team. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team. This position requires experience in telemetry and med/surg, with flexibility to float to support staffing needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care.
• Execute physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Required Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in Telemetry.
• Experience as a Traveler RN in Telemetry is preferred.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, specifically EPIC.

Work Authorization:

Certifications & Clearance Requirements:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification
