What we will provide you as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver:
- $15-$16 per hour for part-time depending on experience, care requirements and longevity training

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver you will:
- Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Help with daily activities including personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation
- Work closely with a team of people including your co-workers, consumer family members, and medical professionals to help your consumers to live as independent as possible
- Transport clients as needed to appointments and other activities
- Accompany clients to medical and other appointments to ensure their needs are met by the physician or provider
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred. **DODD will temporarily waive the requirement that DSPs must have a high school diploma or GED. This waiver will be effective from September 17, 2021, through September 30, 2022. Employees without a high school diploma or GED cannot be certified to administer medications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and written
- A personal vehicle that is well maintained
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check
Preferred Experience:
- One year working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
- Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver / Home Health Aide / Home Health Care / Personal Care experience is a plus
Licenses/Certifications:
- CPR/First Aid - Provided if you are not currently certified
- Medication Administration - Provided if you are not currently certified
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 5 points on our driving record
- DODD 8 Hour Provider Training
- Proof of personal auto insurance
Compensation:
- $15-$16 per hour for part-time depending on experience, care requirements and longevity training
