The Walter Center for Career Achievement is the career services office for the College of Arts Sciences at Indiana University Bloomington.
The Walter Center works with students to guide them through a unique academic and professional journey to help transform classroom knowledge into valuable work experience, leveraging in-demand liberal arts skills to design a life that they love. The Walter Center strives to host inclusive, accessible events which enable all individuals to engage fully.
The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest academic unit at Indiana University Bloomington. It is composed of 40 departments, 50 Centers, Programs, and Institutes, while also including the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design, the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, and The Media School.

The Career Coach serves as an integral member of the College of Arts and Sciences newly formed Academic Engagement and Student Experience Team, which brings together key student serving functions including academic advising, career services, international programs and recruiting.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus.
