The Indianapolis Colts are seeking an experienced Corporate Partnership Manager who will be responsible for the prospecting and sales processes that lead to corporate partnerships for the Indianapolis Colts, with new business development as the primary focus of this position.The Corporate Partnership Manager will meet directly with new partner prospects and select current partners on a regular basis in order to increase overall sales and investment opportunities for the club. The sole focus will be selling integrated and comprehensive corporate partnerships which include intellectual property rights, entitlements, promotions, media (television, digital, social, radio and print), permanent and digital signage, hospitality (tickets and suites), community programs and other club marketing events.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and creatively call on a robust prospect pipeline (via targeting and qualifying leads through cold calls and referrals) for potential corporate partnership opportunities with regional and national companies.Meet with prospects and partners in-person to gain an understanding of their objectives.Develop and implement new and innovative programming based on client’s marketing/partnership objectives to maximize their value.Work interdepartmentally within the Club to develop partnerships that seamlessly integrate marketing messaging, usage of Club marks, integration within Lucas Oil Stadium and other collaborative efforts.Create proposals including the customization of elements, terms and language.Deliver engaging presentations to prospective partners. Close partnerships by overcoming objections.Build and maintain relationships with partners to increase overall renewal success.Identify upsell opportunities year over year based on partners ever-changing goals and objectives.Help execute activation plans with dedicated Partnership Marketing Managers for each partner when needed.Develop and communicate routine reporting systems to track prospecting, sales activities, partner interaction and renewal activity – all to ensure the individual sales plan is on track to meet goal.Achieve annual individual sales goal and assist department in achieving annual overall revenue targets.Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.Minimum 6 years of sales experience.Proven experience in closing six-figure annual, long-term integrated partnerships.Demonstrated success in new business prospecting using a multitude of creative techniques.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, establish priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.Excellent oral and written communication skills to develop strong working relationships with partners and coworkers.Understands the need for data integrity and pays attention to maintaining accurate and timely data.Strong work ethic with the ability to operate under pressure.Extremely customer-focused with both external and internal prospects and partners.Ability to be aggressive, polished and poised. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power Point.Available to work extended hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.Available to travel 1-2 weeks per season.Responsibilities and qualifications may change at any time with or without notice.
