Summary
The Clerical/Receptionist performs secretarial work of a confidential nature and relieves supervisors of minor executive duties, including coordination of office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control. Also coordinates maintenance of office in orderly fashion and records control.
Receptionist Responsibilities
- Composes confidential correspondence, complies reports, and types general administrative and technical materials for the administrator.
- Coordinates the maintenance distribution, and implementation of written policies and procedures that reflect the goals and objectives of the facility and the corporation. (Includes personnel policies, resident care policies, procedure manuals, position descriptions, etc.)
- Develops and maintains a good working rapport with inter-department staff, and other departments within the facility to assure that administrative services and activities can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the facility.
- Establishes and maintains the administrative filing system.
- Ensures administrative functions are carried out promptly for efficient operation.
Receptionist Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent with business curriculum required.
- Typing, filing, correspondence composition and computer skills required.
- Minimum one year’s secretarial experience required.
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Must have strong, positive interpersonal skills.
