Qualifications and experience –

• 2 years in software engineering or related roles.
• Passion for balancing standards and freedom to improve development experience.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design patterns and development.
• Proficiency in C#, .Net Framework/.Net Core, and MS Build.
• Familiarity with Azure, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Docker and Agile ways of working.
• Excellent collaboration, communication skills; ability to work in distributed teams.
• Proactive, systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving approach.
• Ability to tackle non-standard problems.
• Understanding of Agile software delivery principles and practices.
• Experience operating at scale in a large software enterprise (preferred).
• Experience implementing product management and software delivery management tools with results-driven outcomes (preferred).
• Define, document, and promote best practices within DevX organization and engineering teams.
• Provide technical expertise and support for software delivery management tools (Azure DevOps, Azure, Jira, Artifactory, Visual Studio/Code, GitHub).

Terms -

• Candidates will be required to relocate to Mauritius.
• Relocation assistance will be provided for the Engineer him/herself (air tickets, 3 months accommodation to get started and visa assistance). Should the Engineer have family joining him/her this will be at personal cost.
• The Ceridian offices are based in Ebene - Ebene is a suburb of Quatre Bornes, Mauritius, 15 kilometres south of the capital, Port Louis. Construction began in November 2001, with the suburb being promoted as a new information technology hub for Mauritius and as a link between African and Asian markets.
• Rate to the candidate will be a maximum of USD2500 per month (approximately R50,000.00 per month).

• Please note that working hours for the role are 11h30 to 20h30 5 days per week to align with international offices.
• The do offer flexible work (2 or 3 days per week WFH and remaining days in the office).
